PROBLEM OF THE DAY : 16/06/2024 | Sum Of Prime

Description
Discussion

Welcome to the daily solving of our PROBLEM OF THE DAY with Nitin Kaplas. We will discuss the entire problem step-by-step and work towards developing an optimized solution. This will not only help you brush up on your concepts of Number Theory but also build up problem-solving skills.

Given a number n, find out if n can be expressed as a+b, where both a and b are prime numbers. If such a pair exists, return the values of a and b, otherwise return [-1,-1] as an array of size 2.
Note: If [a, b] is one solution with a <= b, and [c, d] is another solution with c <= d, and a < c then  [a, b] is considered as our answer.

Examples

Input: n = 10
Output: 3 7
Explanation: There are two possiblities 3, 7 & 5, 5 are both prime & their sum is 10, but we'll pick 3, 7 as 3 < 5.

Give the problem a try before going through the video. All the best!!!
